 The Student Government represents the student body as a whole in all areas of school life.  It is a fun and active organization within Streetsville Secondary School that sponsors and runs various activities such as spirit days/weeks, dances, talent shows, fundraisers, conferences, unity day and other smaller events throughout the year. 

 Student Government also runs elections for the grade representatives, which creates the General Council.  The General Council consists of two representatives from each grade level.  The General Council assists the Executive Council with events as well as represents their grade by bringing forward ideas, comments and issues to the attention of the Executive Council.
