Humber Landscaping

Humber College has partnered with the Peel District School Board to offer an exciting new OYAP opportunity for students interested in Landscaping and Horticulture.

The program operates as follows:

  • Week One: Co-op pre-placement (standard component of Co-op)
  • Weeks 2-9: Humber College
  • Weeks 10-20: Co-op placement

Benefits to you:

  • If successful, you will earn 4 Co-op credits, and:
  • You will receive OYAP registration
  • You will have a Level 1 Apprenticeship
  • The benefits of Co-op from a placement in landscaping
  • You will receive your OSSD
  • You will have the potential for future employment


  • 26 credits
  • 40 hrs community service
  • Literacy test
  • Strong interest/desire for a career in this field
  • Co-op/tech teacher reference
  • Interview with Humber College and Landscape Ontario
