This site has been primarily created by the vision and efforts of Mr.George Adams. It is presently being maintained by Mr.Tom Bates at Streetsville Secondary School in Peel County, Ontario. I would like to thank George Adams for all his work and passion on behalf of the students and teachers that have used the site and are presently enjoying the fruits of his labour. I am proud to have worked with him, and constantly strive to do the best job I can on behalf of the students.

ICS3M is a course in Programming and Problem Solving. Students will gain a solid understanding of the power that humans have to control the computer and instruct it to do tasks which involve repetitive and decision making processes.The ideal student for this course will have a solid background and experience in creativity, the arts, language and math related skills.
The Programming Language used is Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. This language offers a robust blend of Design and Problem Solving tools for building Windows Applications. Upon completion of this course, students will have the ability to design and construct a multi-windowed application involving graphics, animation and data analysis.
Other areas of focus in this course will include the use of the computer as a tool for research, ergonomics, careers, post-secondary education, ethics and communication. The Internet will be used extensively for research on programming and other computer related topics.
